This free event is part of a nationwide initiative to help protect community members from identity theft and promote safer disposal of sensitive documents.

Why Shred Day Matters
Identity theft continues to be a top concern in Maryland, accounting for a large share of fraud reports submitted to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Easy and Safe for Everyone
Your safety and convenience are top priorities at Shred Day. All you need to do is pull up to one of the designated locations. BBB staff, event volunteers, and sponsors like Von Paris will be on-site to provide full-service assistance. Attendees can remain safely inside their vehicles while personnel from Iron Mountain, a AAA certified company and member of the National Association of Information Destruction (NAID), handles the secure document shredding.
